Today was Scotland and Sweden's first day of school. Scotland cared more about packing her new backpack than about school itself. She looked so old with her little backpack on....it's so bittersweet. Scotland was so excited to take Sweden to school and let everyone know that it was "her new baby". On the way to school Sweden was fussing and Scotland told her "don't worry Sweden, I know a lot of stuff about school and I will take care of you". It was so sweet.....she loves her little sister.

GooD FoRtuNe!!!!

Tonight we decided to go out to eat at Golden Jade Chinese Restaurant....mmmmmm!!!! Unfortunatly for Scotland that meant that chicken nuggets were out of the question. So lo mein it was. Scotland does however love the fortune cookies at Chinese restaurants and insists on opening everyone's cookie for them. Tonight she opened mine and hers and asked me to read them to her. When she got to opening Brandon's cookie she said that she could read this fortune herself. After opening it and staring at the message for a few seconds she proceeded to say "Mommy, the fortune says don't clog the toilet". Where do kids come up with this stuff? Needless to say, we were laughing hysterically. What better advice than that of a three year old???

Scotland & Sweden

The girls finally had their first photo shoot together.....and the pictures turned out darling. I thought Scotland would be so excited to have pictures with her baby sister, but I was wrong. She just wanted to do her own thing. So it made it a very interesting day at the photographers. It was pretty much a nightmare....If Scotland wasn't crying, then Sweden was. At least the pictures turned out precious!!!!

San Diego Zoo
We had tons of fun MoNkeYinG around at the San Diego Zoo. Well maybe Brandon didn't have too much fun....he had to push me in a wheelchair....no way was I walking up and down the zoo at almost 37 weeks pregnant. If you haven't been to the San Diego Zoo, it has major hills. Needless to say, Bran got his workout. Scotland mainly wanted to see the lions and tigers, but she loved all the cute little animals.

BabY CoUnTdoWn
Well we have 4 more weeks exactly.....Not that we are counting!!! Sweden is due on July 2 and we are all so excited, especially Scotland. Scotland was telling me all the things she is going to do by herself once she is a big sister...she wants to be a good helper. She told me that she is going to make the cookies, buy the donuts at the store, push the shopping carts, and paint her own fingernails. WOW!!!! She is so funny. She tells me all the time that Sweden is getting really big and needs to come out. I agree with her, but she will have to wait until we get back from San Diego. Yes, I am going on an airplane to California at 36 weeks pregnant....CrAzY!!!! Hopefully we make it back to Utah before our special delivery.

ScOtLanD's FirSt HaiRcuT

Scotland is three years old and just having her first haircut. Pretty sad considering her grandma is a cosmetologist. She was so excited to get her hair done at the salon....she thought she was such a big girl. She kept saying "don't cut it like a boy mama". She is totally ALL girl!!!! Now she is constantly asking for haircuts when she is at grandma's house....we have created a monster ;)
